Six people were injured in a car accident, which officials say, may have involved a drunk driver. Those injured, including the suspected drunk driver, have been identified as: Emmanuel Corona and Anthony Fusaro, both 26, Tiffany Canderday, 17, Michelle Canderday, 21, Megan Espinosa, 19, and Fernando Ramirez, 31. According to a news report in The Daily Democrat, the serious injury accident occurred on State Route 128 near Pleasant Valley Road in Woodland the night of April 10, 2011.
California Highway Patrol officials say that Ramirez made an unsafe turning movement, crossed a double-yellow line and crashed his 1996 Honda Accord head-on into Espinosa?s Toyota Camry. The injuries suffered by the six victims range from major to minor. Ramirez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
My thoughts and prayers are with the many injured victims of this DUI accident. I wish them all a quick and complete recovery.
