High Fuel Prices Could Derail Summer Travel Season Before It Even Arrives (ContributorNetwork)

ContributorNetwork - 2011 is only a few months old, and already the travel industry is feeling the effects of high fuel prices. United Airlines recently reported a $213 million first quarter loss, and low-cost carrier Southwest Airlines reported a profit of $5 million. Other airlines are expected to announce first quarter numbers next week.
