Orange County Truck Accident Causes Critical Injuries

alt textDante Rouzan, 27, was seriously injured in an Orange County truck accident involving an out-of-control big rig. According to news reports, the serious injury accident occurred on westbound 91 Freeway near Glassell Street in Anaheim the night of April 12, 2011. California Highway Patrol officials say that a gravel truck driver was trapped inside the cab of his vehicle when an out-of-control 18-wheeler crashed into his vehicle. Rouzan had to be extricated from the truck and was hospitalized with major injuries. Officials are looking into what caused the big rig to go out of control.

My thoughts and prayers are with the critically injured victim of this Orange County truck accident. I wish him a complete and speedy recovery from his injuries.

According to California Highway Patrol?s 2008 Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS), 21 people were killed and 2,018 were injured in Anaheim car accidents. During that same year, there were 152 fatalities and 13,414 injuries reported due to Orange County car accident.
